TODAY

"Therefore look gently on men, And even more gently on women. Although they may go a little wrong, Do not condemn them.Above all consider not merely what they have done, But why. God alone has the power to look into a human heart, To judge actions and motives and regrets. He alone knows not only what one has done and why,But what one has resisted doing and why– Man's responsibility is to forgive:Only God has the authority to judge."-Robert Burns

A quote I was given several years ago and think about almost daily. Just thought I'd share with you incase you haven't been sent this by me.

Today Neal woke up at 5:30 am, he's been under the weather the last few days. Vomitting and diarhea, sorry, but that's what it's been like. He's seen the doctor and we have him on pedialyte. We were still able to stroll along side Camilla so she could walk to school listening to Mylie Cyrus and singing along as she wore my headphones. It is fun to listen to her and watch the sheer joy on her face. Then I continued on with Neal for a walk. The insulation is being installed today, actually I think they are finished with the walls, now the blown insulation for the ceiling needs to be completed. We received a call from our contractor yesterday to tell us that we can go look at tile, carpet and flooring for the kitchen area, that isn't a kitchen yet. He gave us some ideas of places he likes to use. So we will do that soon. It's exciting.

Well, time to close, the kids have early day out so I need to get a load of laundry folded while Neal is asleep in the swing.

A HUNTING WE WILL GO!!!

Congrats to Robert
Spencer had his first experience on a deer hunt this last Saturday. He went with Uncle's Robert, Chad and Michael, Grandpa Sanders, my cousin Lorin Sanders and Spencer's cousins Taylor, William, Jeffrey, Peter and Joseph. He said he did "ALOT OF HIKING". This picture is one Robert sent me of his deer in the back of his truck with the kids minus a few. Congrats to Robert and Spencer says he now wants to take the hunter's safety course and get a license so he can shoot like Joseph did. So we'll see what happens, I suppose he does have some Sanders blood in him! My dad has been hunting my whole life and most of his; I told Spencer that he did something with his grandpa Sanders that I did with my grandpa Sanders and my dad. So on it goes and who knows maybe one day we will have a deer in the back of.....umm, Robert's truck....ha, ha. See, not sure I can see us with a truck, but I could be wrong, stranger things have happened, I mean we did move to UTAH!!!! I'm glad all the boys had a good time from what I hear and I'm glad that my dad can still out hike them all....I hear it was grandpa's idea to go on a third drive...yes, drive, a long arduous walk through the brush and on the side of a mountain to push the deer out and up to the hunters with the guns....See, I have been hunting. Robert got his last deer when he was 18 years old...so it's been a long time coming. Enjoy the deer meet Carol, Charity, Daniel, Miranda and Chance!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Big Date with Daddy!!!

When Camilla got up this morning I reminded her that it's Friday and she gets to go on her date with daddy. She was so excited. And I've been bracing my self all day for "Is it time to go yet?? When is daddy getting home......" She wants to go see a movie about Chihuahuas (sp?) I was just thinking about it because I need to find out the time of the movie. The last date she had with daddy they went out for a ice cream sundae and she talks about it often! It's so exciting to be 7. Anyway, the boys and I will find something fun to do here at home tonight. I made lots of cookies and Spencer is looking forward to a night of movies at home with mom and Neal....yippee for me! Have fun CAMILLA and DADDY!!!!!

FUN TIMES

One morning I had to hurry and get ready for something and Neal was so hungry, he can't hold the bottle yet, but we figured out a way! I just thought it was so cute to see him all squished in the pillows!
My pansies...they remind me of my grandma Sanders, she used to always sing little purple pansies with me and when I was the music leader in primary back in Las Vegas, I would tell that story to the kids and ask them to sing that song real loud so grandma could hear it! She died back in 2000 I think, if my memory serves me right. I love looking at the faces on pansies, they are all just a little different. Little purple pansies touched with yellow gold, growing in one corner of the garden old, they are very tiny but must try, try, try just one spot to gladden you and I. Yes, they do gladden my heart.

One more close up of Neal...he had the second part of his flu shot today; he's weighing 15.49 lbs...I am about ready to put him in 6-9 month clothing, infact I have a 9 month sleeper on him right now and he's filling it out! Way to go my little love.

Kern Kids

Neal's new high chair, thanks to the Fench family! Camilla enjoys playing with Neal as much as possible and she can't wait to help feed him "real food" infact I've caught her letting him lick gold fish crackers and fruit snacks!!!!
Neal enjoys sitting in his new chair, he doesn't like eating cereal as much as he just likes sitting in it and playing while I'm in the kitchen, but we keep working at it.
Spencer receiving a few merit badges from scout camp this last summer, the court of honor was at the end of Sept. He received first aid, wood carving and one more....oh my goodness I just had a serious lack of memory...anyway, we are proud of his accomplishments. We are suppose to sign up for scout camp again by the end of this week...trying to talk him in to it. Camping is not his favorite thing...hmm sounds like someone else I know.

Basement before pictures

Family Room

Another view of family room and maybe a future kitchen, we are piping it in for one just in case.

Doorway to upstairs, will be opened up a few feet more.

The framing is complete. We listened to the workers pound and saw and build all day on Saturday. They worked non-stop from 8am to 5:30pm. So we'll take some pictures today and update our blog soon so you can see the progress. Cody Trotter is doing our basement. He built the house next door to us and did a few of my friend's basements and add on's. I've seen a few of his custom homes as well. He does a beautiful job. He told me the basement will be done before Christmas. He does basements on weekends and as he can, he's building a big custom home right now and trying to get the roof on before the weather gets bad. It rained all day Saturday and has cooled down alot here in Payson.
