Camilla's Red Ribbon Week
Camilla decided she wanted to be Dorothy, from the Wizard of Oz, for Halloween this year. When we saw the play for Labor Day weekend, she talked non-stop about it. So today is the day she can wear her costume to school. This is a picture of Clifford trying to convince Camilla that he can play the part of Toto... Camilla chose a different Toto and here she is, our little Dorothy!
Camilla was not to be outdone by her big brother, so she chose to color her hair for crazy hair day and her dad took time to braid the front so it was kinky. One side is red the other is blue. If you'll look closely you can see snowflakes falling outside our window, this was also our first snow of the season!

Red Ribbon Week
Spencer participated in the Red Ribbon week at his junior high school. This is a picture of Crazy hair day. Here's Spencer supporting his favorite sport's team. He was talked by the assistant principal about the color in his hair, but when the principal found out it didn't bother any of the teachers, they decided not to make him wash it out. In turn he received first place on this day.

My two Fall Wreaths
At Christmas time last year Eric hung a Christmas wreath in this very spot in our kitchen, I really loved it. At Easter he brought home a wreath of colored robin eggs and hung it here and I loved that one. So asked if we could continue with the theme for Fall, two wreaths. This is our kitchen wreath! This is the livingroom wreath that goes on the fireplace mantle.
Each time I see them I feel warm inside. I love my husband for always being so kind and gracious to me and finding ways to show me he hears what I'm saying and cares.
I do enjoy the Fall and all the different colored leaves. I enjoy the cooler weather and baking and making soups. I'm thankful for each season and enjoy all of them. Now as I change my wreaths I can celebrate the beginning of a new season or holiday. I used the egg wreaths during the summer as well, maybe as time goes on I'll collect two more for the summer.
Find little ways to enjoy each season in life.
