We ate lunch at the Lion House pantry, it was delicious, but we have not pictures of that.
Then we headed to one of the visitor's centers and met up with Lee and Ann Church; the parents of this guy I like to call.......nah, I better just call him Scott, my very dear, sweet, kind friend. We had a fun visit as they told us of their adventurous trip and we got a bit of time to catch up. Spencer took a picture of us. Take note that Brother Church is on the telephone :o). Wish we could have visited longer, can't wait till we can make a trip to Georgia to visit them and take Scott, Steph and their family with us!
Spencer took an up close photo of himself with Neal.
We took off site seeing after the visit, we did spend some time in that visitor's center as well as you'll see below. This statue is right outside the Assembly Hall.

We had a great day and all was beautiful up until we were ready to leave. We put all of our belongings in to the car and realized we did not have our camera. So Eric spent 45 minutes going back over the areas we had visited, with no luck. He then put in a claim with lost and found and returned to tell us the bad news.

We were without our camera for 5 weeks and one day Eric decided to call Temple Square again. Asked if they'd found a blue Nikon Coolpix in a black case and the person there told us they did have one that matched that discription. However, the day it was reported missing was the 6th and the date they had it documented in their records was the 5th. So we had our brother, Michael, check it out since he works there and sure enough it was our trusty camera. We are so happy it was found and now we can try to catch up a bit with some blogging and pictures.
Miracles do happen! Every day! The Spirit was wonderful at Temple Square and we really did have a beautiful day together.

Looks like a wonderful day....I am so glad your camera was returned. That is awesome!
That's actually a great photo of you guys w/Lee and Ann. What's the deal w/him being on the phone though, ha! What're you talking GA for? Ya'll need to make a trip out here to AZ!
Love all the photo's. You're photo's resemble mine... There are hardly any of YOU cause you're the photographer. Funny how that happens!
BTW: Where's the camera recovery story? I'm waiting...:0)
Oh, meant to mention how much the kids have grown. WOW!
So glad you found it! Your kids look so old in some of those pictures!!
We did have a wonderful day. Thanks for the posts. Steph, that is the STORY..ha, ha.
You mean that's it? That's all, it was just a phone call and a mixed up date? I was hoping for a story about someone taking it and then having guilty feelings, with revelations and Holy Ghost promptings to repent and turn it in. Or a vision that Eric had to look behind the 3rd pew in the tabernacle or something, etc. I guess there really are still good people out there in the world who turn things in when they find them, but still human enough to record the wrong date. So glad it got sorted out and you got your camera back, ha!
